My best friend

Friendship Forever

As we all have friends me too have lots of friends, but among them I also have a best friend. He is my friend since my preschool time.When I need him he is always there for me. He knows everything about me. He is the person who help me when I am down, turn my frown upside-down and make me feel better. I can't imagine any better of a friend. 

By name he is Sibathi Sajan. He is 21 years old and he lives in Monaragala. He has  two sisters. First, mine and my friend's paths got crossed when we were in our preschool. He did his advanced level exam in Bio Science stream and obtained 3A's with a district rank. Now He has got selected to the Medical Faculty of University of Rjarata.

He is a very special and close person in my life who I can share the most important things and take support anytime. He can understand other people's feelings very much.We share everything at the school.

I am very lucky to have a friend like him. Though we are not brothers by blood we are brothers by heart.

 University of Kelaniya

                                           University of Kelaniya has a very proud history. It is situated at dalugama, kelaniya Sri Lanka.So many valuble characters are born to the world by this university. Now adays there are more than 16000 undergraduate students are studying at university of kelaniya.
                                           The University of Kelaniya has its origin in the historic Vidyalankara Pirivena, founded in 1875 by Ratmalane Sri Dharmaloka Thera as a centre of learning for Buddhist monks.With the establishment of modern universities in Sri Lanka in the 1940s and 1950s, the
Vidyalankara Pirivena became the Vidyalankara University in 1959, later the Vidyalankara Campus of the University of Ceylon in 1972, and, ultimately, the University of Kelaniya in 1978.
                                           The University of Kelaniya has pioneered a number of new developments in higher education. It was one of the first universities to begin teaching science in Sinhala and the first to restructure the traditional Arts Faculty into three faculties: Humanities, Social Sciences,
and Commerce and Management.
                                           It has several departments not generally found in the Sri Lankan University system and some Kelaniya innovations have been adopted
subsequently by other universities. These include the Departments of Industrial Management and Microbiology in the Faculty of Science;
                                           Departments of Linguistics, Fine Arts, Modern Languages and Hindi in the Faculty of Humanities; and Mass Communication and Library and
Information Sciences in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
                                           Now a days University of Kelaniya is in the 3rd place among the Universities in Sri Lanka and world rank is 2691.

Present days there are 7 faculties in University of kelaniya.
